Dawn and Emily are amazing artists and instructors, and their studio exemplifies their commitment and care for art tenfold. Whether you’re looking for art supplies or pieces from independent artists, the store front has something for yourself and anyone on your shopping list (be it birthday, holiday, or just because). If you’re trying to buy in bulk or curate a specific kind of experience (i.e., if you’re a teacher, planning an event of your own but need materials and some guidance), Dawn goes above and beyond. Blue Marble provides a carefully curated selection of art classes, often featuring local artists and instructors, providing space for people to come together and create. Having a space to try out new mediums, no matter your art background and experience, is especially valuable. Dawn and Emily have created a warm, welcoming space. I’ve taken 3 classes so far (watercolor: a 4-week course with Dawn, watercolor pencils: a 6-week course, and a one-time acrylic pour class) and I cannot wait to join even more.

I have taken 2 classes so far at Blue Marble - watercolor and zen doodle drawings. Fantastic classes and excellent instructor. Dawn takes time to work with those (like me) who normally don't engage in artistic endeavors and encourage them to explore this side of their brain. Nice size classes that allows her to work with each of student. I will be taking more classes at Blue Marble!

Blue marble studio is an amazing place to experience and create art! Growing up I always had this belief that to make art you had to be “born with it”. Dawn’s guidance helped me realize that art is for everyone and made me believe that I could make art! Can’t wait to book my next class!!!
