Today, my husband & I received our 1st of 2 Vaccinations to protect us against COVID19. We scheduled our appointments to go to Raritan Valley Community College in Somerset County, NJ, where we are residents. After making the appointments, we received confirmations and this week 2 reminders with the QR codes we needed to use to register upon arrival. This is a drive through site, so we never had to leave our car, which lessened our anxiety. Clear signs are posted on the property, directing everyone on where to go and staff was posted throughout to keep the lines moving, take information and answer questions. Everyone knew their responsibilities and they executed them flawlessly, pleasantly and professionally. We were in and out (including the monitored 15 minute waiting period after vaccinations) in less than an hour. On the drive home we received another email notifying us that we will receive a follow up email in about a week providing our appointment date & time for our 2nd shots from the NJ Dept of Health. We just wanted to express our thanks to the Somerset County Department of Health for a job that was so wonderfully organized. This level of organization needs to be modeled throughout the State.
